About Erica Newell
Hi, I’m Erica — a family and newborn photographer based south of Boston, photographing families throughout Boston and the South Shore. As a mom of three, I know firsthand how chaotic family photos can feel. Getting everyone dressed, keeping little ones happy, and hoping someone looks at the camera at the same time… it can be a lot. That’s where I come in. My sessions are relaxed, natural, and genuinely enjoyable for everyone involved. I’ll gently guide you when needed, but the best moments usually happen in between — the laughter, movement, cuddles, sandy toes, and little moments that make your family yours. Most of my sessions take place outdoors during beautiful evening light along the beaches of the South Shore and Cape Cod, though you’ll also find me in my cozy East Milton Square studio photographing sleepy newborns and growing families. My goal is simple: to create images that feel honest, connected, and timeless while making the experience feel easy from start to finish. Even the dads usually leave saying it wasn’t so bad.
